PBM, Inc. is seeking a Design Engineer with six or more years of experience in product design and development.  This position will be responsible for performing independent design projects with a focus on new product development and design for manufacturing in a quick-turn manufacturing environment.

The candidate must have a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or another engineering field with six years of experience in valve and/or piping design.  They should be familiar with ASME, ANSI, and API standards applying to valve and piping design.

Proficiency in the use of PC based applications, including Microsoft Office, is required.  Experience working with 3D modeling software is desired, but not required.

The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to interact efficiently in multi-departmental teams on collaborative work, as well as work independently with minimal supervision. They must possess a

strong mechanical aptitude and excellent problem solving abilities.  They must be able to work on multiple projects concurrently in a specialty product environment.
