PBM establishes ASME NQA-1 program

Quality assurance program for nuclear facility applications

PBM, Inc. has recently implemented an ASME NQA-1 Quality Assurance Program for nuclear facility applications. This new program is in addition to PBM’s long established ISO 9001 Quality Management Program. Implementation of ASME NQA-1 is accompanied by ASME “N” and “NPT” certificates, and affords PBM the opportunity to service a broad range of nuclear facility valve applications. PBM, established in 1899 as Pittsburgh Brass Manufacturing, has a long tradition of providing valve solutions to critical process applications. PBM Inc. manufactures a complete line of alloy ball valves, along with a line of instrument gauge isolation and double block and bleed valves at its facility in Irwin, Pennsylvania.
